Hose Barb - Plug Polysulfone, O-Ring Silicone
Description
Eldon James features industry-leading barbed quick disconnects that are
perfect for conjoining tubes of any kind. Safe for use in medical
practices, these couplings feature innovative single barb technology to
stay firmly entrenched in the tubing. Four body sizes are currently
available with Barb Fittings to accommodate tubing sizes ranging from
1/4” ID to 1” ID.
Housing Material
Polysulfone - Tough, rigid, high strength material suitable for
continuous use at 150°C. Withstands oxidation, hydrolysis, prolonged
high temperature exposure and repeated sterilization. Resistance to
mineral acids, alkali and
salt solutions, detergents and hydrocarbon oils. May be attacked by ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons.

O-Ring Material
Silicone is resistant to extreme temperatures, outstanding
flexural and fatigue life, and low compression set. Resistance to fungal
growth, UV and ozone exposure, and weathering. Not for use with fuels,
silicone and petroleum-based oils, and acids.
